About the Opportunity
Join our team as the Head of Facility Management at our Neuwied location. Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the stability, modernization, and future viability of the company's infrastructure, which forms the foundation of our success.
- Lead and manage your team both technically and disciplinarily, fostering collaboration, accountability, and quality.
- Oversee building and grounds management, including maintaining all structural and civil engineering facilities and planning and executing new construction and renovation projects.
- Guarantee compliance with occupational safety regulations and official requirements as an integral part of responsible and sustainable operations.
- Manage external construction service providers professionally and cooperatively, while confidently engaging with building authorities in a solutions-oriented manner.
- Anticipate challenges in daily operations and strategic matters, identify potential improvements, and develop sustainable solutions.
- Plan and supervise investments and major repairs within your responsibility area with foresight and business acumen.
- Ultimately, provide the structural and infrastructural conditions necessary for the organization's current success and future growth.
Qualifications
- A degree in civil engineering or a comparable technical qualification.
- Several years of leadership experience in a similar role within a manufacturing company.
- Experience in regulated environments such as medical device production, pharmaceutical, or food industries is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of business principles and cost awareness.
- Proficiency in standard IT systems, including ERP software (preferably SAP) and Microsoft Office.
- Good command of English at a B1 level or higher.
