Head of Educational Technology Facilities

Overview

K L University, recognised as one of the premier institutions in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, is seeking an experienced professional to join as the Head of Educational Technology (ET) Facilities. This position involves overseeing and managing the university's entire Educational Technology setup, including AV systems, surveillance networks, and support operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and ensure the proper functioning of EPABX systems through routine monitoring, updates, and troubleshooting.
• Manage CCTV infrastructure comprising cameras, network video recorders, hard drives, and associated networking components.
• Maintain digital signage platforms such as LED and interactive displays, guaranteeing seamless operation.
• Oversee inventory and upkeep of ET equipment including microphones, studio gear, projectors, Wacom displays, and audiovisual devices.
• Coordinate and ensure smooth technical operations within seminar halls, auditoriums, and event venues, working closely with AV operators.
• Lead and manage the media team responsible for photography and videography, ensuring timely delivery of content to respective departments.
• Liaise with external vendors for system installations, servicing agreements, and necessary upgrades.
• Head the ET support team to promptly address and resolve technical issues across the campus.

Qualifications and Experience

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience handling Educational Technology, audiovisual systems, CCTV, EPABX, and facility technical management.
• Proven background in managing institutional technology infrastructure and leading technical teams is highly valued.
