The company is building a distinctive global brand with a strong focus on customer impact and long-term growth. The head office is located in North Sydney, New South Wales.
Role Overview
The Head of Digital & E-commerce will lead Vida Glow’s global digital growth agenda across direct-to-consumer and digital retail channels. This role has ownership of the full e-commerce ecosystem, including the brand website, online marketplaces, and pure-player partners, with accountability for execution against brand KPIs, sales goals, and profitability targets.
In addition, the role will shape and deliver integrated digital marketing strategies using performance media, CRM, and innovative campaigns to attract, convert, and retain customers across global markets. With two direct reports, this position is central to strengthening the digital team and supporting the company’s wider growth plan.
E-commerce Management
- Take full responsibility for all e-commerce channels, including the D2C website, marketplaces, and pure-player platforms.
- Drive performance against revenue, margin, and profitability objectives.
- Oversee trading, merchandising, promotional activity, and pricing decisions.
- Improve site performance, customer experience, and user journey quality using UX best practices.
- Work closely with Supply Chain and Operations to maintain stock availability, reliable fulfilment, and strong service levels.
- Lead the growth and development of Amazon in Australia, the US, and the UK.
- Manage relationships with pure-player partners to deliver commercial and brand outcomes, including strategy reviews, promotional planning, and investment decisions.
- Keep CO-OP and trade investment budgets aligned with company goals and KPIs.
Digital Marketing Strategy & Execution
- Design and lead digital marketing strategies across paid, owned, and earned channels to generate traffic, conversion, and repeat purchase.
- Own performance marketing, SEO/SEM, and CRM activities.
- Identify improvement opportunities that strengthen acquisition and conversion across digital channels.
- Manage campaign activity on Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, and YouTube with support from a digital agency, including account structure, campaign setup, audience targeting, creative coordination, and budget control.
- Ensure all campaigns are guided by data, focused on results, and consistent with brand positioning.
- Partner with Creative and Brand Marketing teams to produce high-impact content for digital channels.
- Test emerging tools and channels to keep the digital approach innovative and competitive.
Leadership & Collaboration
- Coach, lead, and develop the Digital Marketing Executive and E-commerce Manager while promoting accountability and innovation.
- Collaborate with Commercial, Creative, Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to deliver aligned go-to-market plans.
- Present performance results, ROI, and customer insights to senior leadership.
- Support annual budgeting and ongoing forecast planning.
Required Experience & Knowledge
- At least 9 years of experience managing acquisition and retention strategies across paid media, CRM, and affiliate channels.
- Background in managing or developing trading relationships with pure players or marketplaces.
- Prior experience building brands through digital marketing and/or e-commerce in the UK and US is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related discipline.
- Hands-on experience with Google Ads, Meta Ads, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Exposure to the online retail sector is highly desirable.
- Proven ability to create dashboards and reports on channel performance with practical recommendations.
- Strong history of delivering outcomes through in-house digital marketing initiatives.
- Track record of increasing traffic and sales through results-oriented strategies.
- Solid understanding of the e-commerce ecosystem and related platforms; Shopify experience is an advantage.
- Experience managing affiliate networks is beneficial.
- Comfortable with digital and e-commerce trends, tools, and platform updates.
- Strong troubleshooting ability and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Strategic, creative, and motivated by business growth through digital channels.
