Job description
Role Overview
REACHX is looking for a design leader who wants to shape not only execution, but the overall creative direction of the team. In this position, you will guide the design unit, refine the agency’s visual signature, and help translate strategic thinking into coherent, high-quality brand experiences.
You will work closely with creative, strategy, account management, project management, and development teams to steer brand and digital assignments to a successful outcome. The role also calls for an interest in the future of design — including artificial intelligence, emerging tools, digital trends, and smarter ways of working.
Your Impact
- Advance the design unit both strategically and professionally.
- Define and sharpen REACHX’s distinctive design style.
- Set quality benchmarks for visually strong, consistent, and brand-appropriate work.
- Support clients through brand and digital projects together with the strategy team.
- Create an environment where creative teams can take ownership and deliver excellent work.
- Work with strategy, project management, and development to improve processes, workflows, and outcomes.
- Represent the creative perspective in new business situations, including pitches and proposal preparation.
- Help align scope, effort, and delivery expectations early in the sales and proposal process.
- Assess effort, feasibility, and the right team setup with a realistic design perspective.
- Contribute interest in AI, new design tools, and forward-looking working methods to support meaningful innovation.
What You Bring
- Several years of experience in brand design, which is essential for this role.
- Additional experience in UX/UI or digital design is a strong advantage.
- A compelling portfolio showing strategically grounded and visually strong work across different design disciplines.
- A solid understanding of how brands stay consistent across digital and physical touchpoints.
- Knowledge of brand strategy and accessibility.
- The ability to clearly explain design decisions, present them convincingly, and defend them confidently in client discussions.
- Strong judgment around effort, quality, feasibility, and commercial considerations.
- Curiosity about AI, new technologies, design trends, and the future of creative work.
- Motivation to take on responsibility, provide professional leadership, and grow into the next step in your career.
Additional Information
You do not need to have managed a large team for many years already. If you are currently working at Senior, Principal, or Lead Designer level and feel ready for the next move, that is absolutely welcome.
More important than a flawless résumé are mindset, design excellence, client proximity, and the ambition to create outstanding work together.
What You Can Expect
You will find significant creative freedom, exciting client projects, short decision paths, opportunities for personal development, and a close-knit, friendly team environment.
