Job description
Role Overview
As the Head of Department for Molding focused on Production Quality, you will oversee molding operations to ensure high efficiency and product standards. You will manage production schedules, maintain machine performance, and control materials to optimize output.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute molding schedules to achieve production targets.
- Maximize the efficiency of molding machines ranging from 80 to 350 tonnes.
- Manage preventive maintenance for molds to reduce downtime.
- Supervise molding parameters and control material waste effectively.
- Operate and manage 5 Extrusion Blow Moulding machines.
- Lead plant quality assurance and quality control for injection molding processes.
- Oversee material and inventory management ensuring availability and optimization.
- Implement cost reduction and resource optimization strategies.
- Apply knowledge of inner components for bottles and various household plastic products.
- Maintain and sustain Quality Management Systems to uphold production standards.
Candidate Profile
- Possess Diploma in any specialization or B.Tech / B.E. in Plastics Technology.
- Experience in production management, quality control, and operations related to plastics molding.
