About the Role
RVM CAD is hiring an experienced, motivated leader to head its Interior Design & BIM division in Faridabad, Haryana. This full-time position is suited to someone who can combine strong technical knowledge with teaching ability, team leadership, and day-to-day departmental oversight.

Role Summary
The Head of Department will oversee the Interior Design & BIM function, deliver high-quality technical and conceptual training, mentor trainers, manage department operations, and help ensure strong learning outcomes. The role calls for expertise in interior design workflows, BIM tools, and architectural software, along with proven people-management skills.
Education
- A bachelor's or master's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline is required.
- Additional certification in BIM or interior design software will be considered an advantage.
Experience
- 8 to 48 years of experience in Interior Design, Architecture, or BIM is expected, as stated in the source.
- At least 2 years of experience in team management or departmental leadership is required.
- Previous exposure to training, mentoring, or academic administration is preferred.
Skills and Technical Knowledge
- Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp, Autodesk Revit, and 3ds Max.

Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will lead academic delivery, oversee the department, support operations, and contribute to student placement readiness and industry engagement.
Training and Academic Delivery
- Conduct classroom, practical, and theory-based sessions on interior design, BIM, and related software.
- Train both students and working professionals using practical, industry-oriented methods.
- Support learners through live projects, portfolio development, and capstone work.
- Track student progress closely and provide timely feedback and guidance.
- Maintain high standards in curriculum execution and training quality.
Department Management
- Take ownership of the Interior Design & BIM department and its overall performance.
- Guide, supervise, and assess trainers to ensure consistent delivery standards.
- Handle batch planning, trainer scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Revise course material to stay aligned with current industry expectations.
- Improve processes and ensure smooth daily functioning of the department.
Operational Duties
- Work closely with the operations, admissions, placement, and marketing teams.
- Assist with seminars, workshops, webinars, and promotional initiatives.
- Monitor attendance, performance, certifications, and placement readiness.
- Ensure assignments and course modules are completed on schedule.
- Keep accurate reports, records, and academic documentation.
Industry and Placement Support
- Develop industry relationships that create better learning and exposure opportunities.
- Help students prepare for interviews through portfolio reviews, mock interviews, and technical coaching.
- Stay current with evolving interior design, BIM, and construction practices.
