Head of Data and Intelligence, SEAA

Overview

CHANEL SEAA is looking for a Head of Data & Intelligence to spearhead the regional data and AI initiatives. This leadership role will focus on aligning data, analytics, and AI capabilities with core business goals and translating these efforts into measurable outcomes. By guiding a committed team and collaborating closely with business units, corporate functions, and technology partners, the role ensures prioritization of impactful opportunities and the development of tailored Data & AI solutions.

Core Responsibilities

• Shape and continuously refine the SEAA Data & AI strategy to reflect Chanel's business priorities and goals.
• Identify key business-enhancing opportunities through data, analytics, and AI to deepen client insight and operational excellence.
• Act as a strategic advisor to senior stakeholders, converting business needs into actionable data priorities and valuable insights.
• Manage the regional Data & Intelligence portfolio with a strong focus on both ongoing data operations and strategic initiatives, ensuring disciplined delivery and resource alignment.
• Lead the development of data and AI platform architecture in partnership with global and technology teams, fostering scalable and integrated technical ecosystems.
• Drive data governance and responsible AI practices by collaborating with technology, legal, and business teams to uphold data quality, privacy, and compliance.
• Promote data literacy and facilitate adoption of data-driven solutions across the region to empower informed decision-making.
• Build and nurture a high-performing Data & Intelligence team by fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Experience

• Proven leadership in Data Strategy, Analytics, Business Intelligence, and AI transformation within multi-market or regional settings.
• Solid expertise in modern data ecosystems, including cloud platforms, BI tools, Machine Learning, and Generative AI technologies.
• Experience establishing governance frameworks and decision-making processes involving cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication skills for engaging diverse stakeholders and senior management effectively.
• Track record driving change management and building data literacy within organizations.
• Ability to work across regional and enterprise levels to align priorities and standards.
