About the Role
This position is a key leadership role within BFJ Digital’s delivery function, connecting strategy, digital performance, and creative execution. You will oversee the agency’s creative output so that every deliverable is commercially effective, consistent with the brand, and designed to drive results. The role partners closely with media, SEO, CRM, and development teams to ensure design supports business growth rather than just aesthetics. You will also define how creative work is briefed, reviewed, and delivered, while improving workflows and tools as the company expands. This role has significant influence over how the agency is represented in the market and how efficiently the internal team operates.

What You’ll Do
You’ll help maintain strong relationships with clients by acting as a trusted adviser and primary contact for important accounts. You’ll work with the media team to find opportunities to increase revenue through upselling and cross-selling, while helping the business meet monthly targets. A big part of the role also involves improving client retention by supporting long-term satisfaction and loyalty. When issues arise, you’ll work with internal teams to resolve escalations quickly and improve the overall client experience.
Role Focus Areas
- Turn client briefs and complex business objectives into clear, persuasive creative strategies across web, social, and brand channels.
- Lead the full website design journey, including workshops, journey mapping, information architecture, wireframing, and responsive best-practice design.
- Partner with digital marketers to create data-driven ad concepts and creatives that capture attention and drive conversions.
- Maintain high standards across all creative deliverables, including direction and quality assurance for contractors and collaborators.
- Improve design processes to increase efficiency without compromising quality, with a focus on using AI tools effectively.
About You
You are a confident creative leader with strong agency experience and the ability to manage projects from concept through to delivery. You can work independently with limited supervision and bring a broad skill set across branding, websites, digital, social, animation, and print. You enjoy combining strategic thinking with hands-on creative leadership.
Experience & Skills
- At least 5 years of design experience in an agency setting.
- Proven ability to lead creative projects from start to finish.
- Comfortable working autonomously with minimal oversight.
- Well-rounded experience across brand, website, digital, social, animation, and print work.
