Role overview
ITSEC and SecureVisa Group are hiring a senior compliance leader to own group-wide compliance and assurance across both businesses in Dubai. The position is central to the organisation’s regulatory quality, with responsibility for ensuring that every submission, policy, and assurance output is accurate, defensible, and aligned to the relevant rules.
This is a specialist leadership role rather than a broad compliance generalist position. The successful candidate will work directly from regulatory rulebooks, prepare filings to required standards, and maintain a strict “verify before you assert” approach.
Key focus areas
The role spans three main areas of responsibility:
- Financial services and virtual asset licensing: approximately 80% of the role, covering VARA, SCA/CMA, ADGM (FSRA), DFSA, and CBUAE matters. Work includes VASP policy packs, AML/CFT/CPF frameworks, KYC/CDD documentation, client agreements, risk disclosures, and complete licensing submissions.
- Healthcare and data protection: includes DHA ST-14, ADHICS V2, UAE PDPL, and DESC compliance through policy creation, regulatory gap reviews, and control mapping.
- Internal assurance: supports ISO/IEC 27001:2022 risk assessments, internal audit activity, evidence handling, and certification preparation.
Candidate profile
The company is seeking someone with several years of hands-on experience in regulatory compliance, financial services, virtual assets, or regulatory advisory work. The ideal candidate should have a strong track record of producing policies, manuals, and regulatory submissions, along with solid knowledge of AML/CFT and FATF principles in a UAE regulatory setting.
Experience with ISO 27001 and/or UAE healthcare and data protection compliance is considered a strong plus. Professional certifications such as CAMS, ICA, CISI, CGSS, or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor are viewed favorably.
Work arrangement
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The selected hire will report directly to leadership and help define compliance standards across both organisations.
