Role Overview

This position offers an excellent opportunity for an individual ambitious to take on their first comprehensive commercial leadership role. Candidates may have experience leading commercial projects, key accounts, product portfolios, or marketing functions within small or medium enterprises and are now prepared for broader ownership.

The aim is to unify sales, marketing, product development, and commercial strategy to accelerate growth. The person in this role will foster momentum, optimize decision-making, and contribute to building a business less reliant on its founder.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and synchronize the company's overall commercial plan.
• Unite Sales, Marketing, and Product Development teams around shared priorities.
• Lead weekly commercial planning sessions and hold teams accountable for outcomes.
• Identify and pursue profitable growth avenues, including new market and customer segments.
• Collaborate closely with Sales to enhance the commercial pipeline.
• Continuously monitor commercial metrics and suggest areas for enhancement.
• Shape customer propositions and prioritize product development based on commercial potential.
• Ensure marketing strategies effectively align with commercial goals.
• Link brand strategy directly with business results.
• Analyze commercial performance, including profitability and ROI.
• Advise on investment priorities, declining opportunities that don’t align with strategic goals.
• Balance short-term gains with sustainable long-term growth.

Experience in the cosmetics industry is a bonus but not a requirement, and exposure to consumer goods, manufacturing, or dynamic SME settings is highly valued.
