Role Overview

As the Head of Client Relationships, you will lead the team of Directors, Client Relationships and be accountable for the overall strength of the firm’s client portfolio. This is a hands-on leadership position that combines coaching, execution, and escalation management. You will define the service standard, help shape how the firm supports clients as it grows, and step into the most complex or sensitive situations to protect client outcomes and strengthen retention.

You will report to the Chief Executive Officer and work fully remotely in a full-time exempt role. The position offers a salary range of $150,000 to $200,000, along with eligibility for a performance bonus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, recruit, develop, and keep a strong team of Directors, Client Relationships.
  • Establish clear expectations for service quality and ensure they are consistently upheld.
  • Build repeatable systems, operating rhythms, and quality checks that support excellent client work.
  • Act as a senior escalation point for high-priority or complex client matters that go beyond an individual director’s authority.
  • Partner with executive leadership by sharing updates on client health, risks, and growth opportunities.
  • Translate firm strategy into practical day-to-day team operations.
  • Plan staffing needs, balance account loads, and forecast headcount as the business expands.

Qualifications and Experience

  • At least 3 years of experience hiring, managing, developing, and leading client-facing teams.
  • At least 8 years of experience in private aviation, wealth management, luxury hospitality, or a similar client-advisory setting, with a strong preference for private aviation experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach, build, and retain high-performing teams in a service-driven environment.
  • Strong commercial judgment and comfort owning retention, growth, and the metrics behind them.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex topics clearly to both clients and executives.
  • Prior experience working remotely in a fast-moving, high-trust environment.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce or a comparable CRM platform.

Physical Requirements

This role involves extended periods of sitting, frequent verbal and written communication, and regular use of office tools such as a computer, keyboard, and telephone. The job also requires close visual focus for computer work and document review, along with the ability to stay attentive in a home or office setting with limited interruptions.
