Key Responsibilities
- Lead global strategic procurement activities within the Electronics category to ensure optimal sourcing.
- Establish and develop the supplier base and strategy for the Electronics category.
- Ensure all delegated workflows are executed in compliance with processes.
- Analyze and identify innovative trends and market developments relevant to the Electronics category.
- Manage interdisciplinary projects, implement procurement project structures, and define the global supplier base.
- Support category managers in strategy formulation, supplier management, and negotiations.
- Provide both functional and disciplinary management as well as continuous development of assigned category managers.
Candidate Profile
- Degree in engineering, industrial engineering, or business administration complemented by several years of experience in global strategic procurement, supply chain management, and/or project/product management.
- Preferably some leadership experience and deep expertise in Electronics.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with strong communication skills to engage effectively across hierarchical levels internationally.
- High technical affinity, entrepreneurship, proficiency in MS Office and SAP, and fluent German and English skills both spoken and written.
- Willingness to undertake regular international business travel approximating 20–30% of working time.
