Job description
About the Company
Public Veil is a rapidly expanding women’s essentials label headquartered in Brooklyn, New York. The brand focuses on premium everyday basics at more accessible price points and operates with a lean, fast-moving team.
Role Overview
This position owns the full brand, marketing, content, influencer, and growth function for Public Veil. The person in this role will shape the brand’s overall image, maintain content quality, set marketing direction, build and manage the creator ecosystem, and drive growth across all channels. It is a hands-on individual contributor role, suited to someone who enjoys working in a small team and taking on a wide range of responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Set the final direction for brand aesthetics, creative taste, and visual identity.
- Oversee content across TikTok, Instagram, paid ads, email, SMS, and product or website pages.
- Plan, produce, direct, and feature in campaign and social content when needed.
- Coordinate recruitment and hiring for creators, influencers, editors, photographers, agencies, and freelance partners.
- Lead strategy and execution for influencer programs, gifting, ShopMy, LTK, affiliate partnerships, and UGC.
- Handle paid media planning and evaluate creative performance across all marketing channels.
- Come up with unconventional marketing concepts, viral ideas, partnerships, and growth experiments.
- Monitor key metrics such as CAC, ROAS, and conversion rate, then scale the tactics that perform well.
- Own marketing planning for every launch and product drop, including content, creator strategy, paid support, rollout timing, messaging, and sell-through approach.
Required Profile
- Strong personal taste and a sharp sense of style.
- Well-developed creative judgment and familiarity with fashion and content culture.
- Comfort with doing the work directly, not only overseeing others.
- A strong focus on both brand-building and conversion outcomes.
- Prior experience in a small DTC brand in fashion, beauty, or jewelry.
- Experience running Meta paid campaigns and influencer marketing.
Compensation
The annual compensation range for this role is USD 120,000 to USD 175,000, depending on experience.
Additional Information
This is a full-time onsite role based in the New York City Metropolitan Area. The company is looking for someone who is comfortable operating in a small, scrappy environment and contributing across multiple functions.
