Role Overview
We seek a seasoned operational leader to join as Head of Automotive Operations & Services. This role requires close collaboration with the CEO to lead and expand the automotive division encompassing MENA Assistance, TRAC, and prospective automotive services. The ideal candidate is an adept builder and implementer who excels in designing scalable business operations and nurturing high-performing teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily management and operational performance of MENA Assistance and TRAC, ensuring achievement of business targets, customer service standards, and operational KPIs.
- Improve service quality, operational efficiency, and profitability across all automotive operations including roadside assistance, contact centers, dispatch, provider networks, vehicle recovery, logistics, fleet management, and vehicle storage.
- Ensure operational compliance, safety standards, and readiness at all divisions.
- Lead initiatives for business growth such as expanding TRAC, introducing new services like vehicle logistics and storage, and entering new markets.
- Develop and execute operational strategies that foster scalable growth and new revenue streams.
- Evaluate potential partnerships, supplier relationships, and business opportunities to bolster expansion.
- Recruit, mentor, and develop operational teams and future leaders, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Enhance governance, operational processes, and KPIs; explore and implement technologies including automation and AI to improve efficiencies.
- Collaborate with the CEO on strategic planning, budgeting, and leading operational projects from conception to launch across MMC Group’s ventures.
Candidate Profile
- At least 10 years of senior operational leadership experience in automotive, mobility, fleet, logistics, or service-heavy operational businesses.
- Proven ability managing multi-location operations and leading high-performance teams.
- Track record of enhancing operational effectiveness while supporting business growth.
- Strong commercial acumen balancing operational excellence, customer service, and profitability.
- Experience in founder-led, high-growth SMEs or multi-business environments preferred.
- Industry experience in roadside assistance, mobility services, fleet management, vehicle logistics, or transportation operations highly desirable.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
- An entrepreneurial, hands-on leadership approach focused on business building beyond managing status quo.
