Role overview

This is a senior opportunity to define and steer the worldwide commercial direction for financial services at Aston Martin, a brand known for performance, luxury and aspiration. The position sits inside Commercial Operations and focuses on building finance solutions that strengthen retail sales, improve customer retention and support overall market performance.

As the global lead for Financial Services, you will own the strategy, rollout and evolution of finance offerings across every market in which Aston Martin operates. The remit goes beyond products alone; it includes helping retailers, enabling partners and creating a more compelling ownership journey for customers. You will contribute to retail and wholesale growth while maintaining strong governance, risk control and regulatory standards.

Key accountabilities

You will define and deliver a global Financial Services strategy that remains competitive, customer-oriented and compliant in all regions. The role has a direct influence on finance penetration, profitability and customer retention, alongside the development of wholesale funding approaches that support dealer liquidity and the long-term health of the network.

Your scope will include product direction, funding models, partner management, risk oversight and commercial performance. A major part of the job is working with regional teams to translate global strategy into local execution, building strong relationships with Regional Presidents and Market Directors to ensure alignment and consistency across markets.

You will also partner closely with the Commercial Operations Director and the Executive Leadership Team, providing guidance on Financial Services matters, sharing market insight, challenging assumptions and helping shape long-term decisions. In addition, you will manage a complex network of banks, leasing companies and finance providers through clear strategic frameworks that support regional success and protect customer outcomes.

Working model

This role is based in Gaydon and follows a hybrid pattern, with a minimum expectation of three days on site each week. International travel will also be required to collaborate with regional teams and external partners.

Experience and leadership profile

We are seeking a senior leader with a background in automotive financial services, banking, leasing or broader consumer finance. You should have experience creating and executing strategy across international markets, along with a strong understanding of FCA regulation and global consumer finance frameworks.

The ideal candidate will be confident operating at executive and board level, able to balance commercial growth with governance and control, and capable of building trust across internal and external stakeholders. Strong leadership, relationship-building, clarity of communication and a practical, delivery-oriented approach are essential.
