Role overview
YFLY International is hiring a full-time Head of Applications to lead end-to-end global university admissions and student visa processing. This role is centered on delivering accurate, timely, and compliant application management across international destinations, with strong focus on Italy, Germany, and Austria.
The position requires advanced knowledge of admission rules, deadlines, and portal workflows for these countries, along with the ability to coordinate documentation, evaluate academic fit, and support visa-related compliance. The role is based in Muvattupuzha, Kerala, and requires in-person work.
Core responsibilities
- Oversee the complete student application journey for global destinations, especially public university systems in Italy, Germany, and Austria.
- Manage international B2B recruitment platforms and master portals to broaden course options and monitor application progress.
- Handle or supervise country-specific systems such as Uni-Assist for Germany, Universitaly and CIMEA for Italy, and legalization or embassy appointment processes for Austria.
- Assess student academic profiles, convert GPA and ECTS where required, compare course modules, and review SOPs and CVs for suitability.
- Support the team with financial proof preparation, blocked account guidance, insurance documentation, and full visa file compilation.
- Coordinate with university admission teams and B2B portal managers to move applications forward and remove process delays.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of proven experience as an Application Team Lead or Senior Specialist in a study-abroad agency or ed-tech environment.
- Strong practical understanding of admissions rules, language requirements such as IELTS, TOEFL, and CEFR, and restricted versus non-restricted course options in Italy, Germany, and Austria.
- Hands-on experience using multiple B2B student recruitment dashboards and partner management systems.
- Excellent English communication skills, strong attention to detail, strict deadline management, and solid problem-solving ability.
