Head Execution (General Manager To VP) - Engineering (Industrial & Warehousing)

Role Summary

This leadership position entails comprehensive management of engineering operations within industrial and warehousing sectors, overseeing all phases from initial feasibility and site assessment through design, construction, and formal project closure.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct all aspects of project delivery lifecycle including pre-construction activities, technical design, and final project completion.
• Develop and enforce technical standards and governance for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and fire & life safety systems to maintain uniformity across projects.
• Ensure strict compliance with local building regulations, environmental guidelines, statutory mandates such as RERA, fire clearances, and pollution control norms.
• Oversee considerable capital expenditure (CAPEX) and operational expenditure (OPEX) budgets, driving cost optimization through value engineering and material/process improvements.
• Lead digital integration initiatives such as Building Information Modeling (BIM) to reduce delays and improve facility management efficiency.
• Manage relationships and performance of external vendors including contractors, architects, and specialized engineering consultants, while addressing disputes and managing contractual change orders.

Candidate Profile

• Possess 15-20 years of senior-level experience in engineering management or project leadership, particularly in large industrial, warehousing, commercial, or real estate projects.
• Deep technical expertise in civil, structural, or mechanical engineering related to industrial warehousing or high-rise commercial developments.
• Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management.
