Role Summary

This position is a full-time, on-site Barista role in Nairobi County. The person in this role will prepare specialty coffees and other drinks, handle customer orders, keep the service area neat and well-organized, track stock, and support basic food preparation when needed. Strong guest interaction and a consistent focus on customer satisfaction are central to the job.

Key Duties

  • Prepare and serve specialty coffee and other beverages to a high standard.
  • Take customer orders and provide friendly, attentive service.
  • Keep the workspace clean, orderly, and ready for service.
  • Monitor inventory and help maintain basic stock levels.
  • Assist with food preparation tasks when required.
  • Contribute to a positive customer experience and resolve service needs professionally.

Qualifications

  • Hands-on barista experience, particularly in specialty coffee preparation.
  • Good communication and people skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Basic knowledge of food preparation.
  • Ability to stay productive in a busy, fast-moving environment.
  • Positive mindset and a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Previous experience in food and beverage service is an added advantage.
  • High school diploma or an equivalent qualification.
