Your Role
As Head Baker, you will manage all bakery-related operations, ensuring top-notch quality of breads, pastries, and desserts. Your culinary creativity, deep expertise, and meticulous attention to detail will enhance our establishment's reputation. You will plan and execute daily baking schedules to fulfill operational demands and preserve ingredient freshness. Developing and innovating new recipes that adhere to the hotel's standards and guest tastes also forms a core part of your role.
Candidate Profile
- Demonstrable experience as a Head Baker, Pastry Chef, or an equivalent position within a luxury hotel, bakery, or upscale dining setting
- Comprehensive knowledge of baking methods, ingredients, and pastry craftsmanship
- Inventive mindset with proficiency in creating seasonal and new menu items
- Strong leadership qualities to motivate and guide a bakery team
- Effective organizational and time management abilities
- Preferred certification from culinary schools or related apprenticeship training
