Role Overview

We are seeking an HCM System Administrator and Reporting Lead to join our team full-time in Adelaide with flexible remote working options. Reporting to the Manager of People & Culture, you will play a pivotal role supporting the implementation and ongoing management of Oracle HCM. Your responsibilities will span project phases and business-as-usual operations, ensuring the system’s effectiveness and continuous enhancement to meet organisational needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and optimise the HCM platform, including configuration, workflows, security access, and system integrations.
  • Lead and coordinate system upgrades, enhancements, testing phases (PVT & UAT), and change management processes.
  • Create and maintain workforce reports, dashboards, and analytics to facilitate compliance, workforce planning, and informed decision-making.
  • Ensure data accuracy, system integrity, and governance compliance through consistent monitoring and improvement activities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as People & Culture, IT, Finance, Payroll, and external vendors to drive continuous improvements, system automation, and operational efficiencies.
  • Identify opportunities for process innovation including leveraging AI capabilities and best-practice HCM solutions.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for a proactive, analytical, and detail-focused professional who prospers in collaborative environments and is dedicated to delivering effective and user-friendly HCM solutions.

  • Proven experience administering modern HCM platforms such as Oracle, Success Factors, or Workday.
  • Strong skills in system configuration, data management, and reporting.
  • Experience with system implementations or major upgrades.
  • Strong ability to interpret business needs into technical solutions.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Effective organisational skills capable of handling multiple priorities efficiently.
  • Analytical thinker with a systems mindset and a passion for process enhancement.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience specifically with Oracle HCM.
  • Project or change management skills.
  • Exposure to AI-enabled tools and process automation.
  • Background in regulated or safety-critical sectors such as healthcare, aviation, emergency services, or not-for-profit organisations.

Education

A tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Human Resources, Business Systems, or a related field is required, or equivalent practical experience.
