Position overview
For the Catholic KiTa St. Markus/Talweg in Wittlich, we are looking for support in housekeeping or cooking. The role is based at Talweg 13, 54516 Wittlich, and offers a permanent appointment with working hours ranging from 19.5 to 39 hours per week. This is a chance to contribute to the daily well-being and healthy development of more than 13,000 children across 151 daycare centres.
What you will do
- Prepare nutritious, child-friendly meals.
- Plan varied menus using healthy, regional ingredients and involve children where appropriate.
- Work in a structured, cost-conscious, and sustainable way.
- Follow hygiene standards and food safety rules carefully.
- Help create a caring and supportive atmosphere for the children.
- Carry out your work in line with the principles and values of the organisation and the site.
- Work closely and trustfully with colleagues, parents, and legal guardians in a respectful manner.
Your profile
- Completed training as a housekeeper, cook, or a similar qualification in the food sector, or relevant experience in housekeeping.
- Willingness to learn about common hygiene requirements, infection control, and allergen regulations.
- Basic identification with the organisation’s goals.
- Openness to a lived Christian value system within the company.
