About the role
Geiger Facility Management is looking for a Hausmeister in Berlin to support the day-to-day upkeep of a property and its surrounding areas. The position focuses on practical site maintenance, minor repairs, safety checks, and coordination with tenants, landlords, and external service providers.
Key duties
- You will handle standard caretaker tasks, including speaking with tenants and property owners and reporting defects or damage.
- You will identify faults or issues during daily operations.
- You will carry out first-response measures to help secure safety on the premises.
- You will complete simple manual and technical tasks.
- You will clean all outdoor areas and take care of green and grey maintenance work.
- You will brief external contractors, accompany them on site, monitor their work, and support the acceptance process.
- You will perform small repairs as needed.
Profile
Ideally, you bring a completed technical or trade apprenticeship. Career changers are warmly encouraged to apply. Initial experience in a similar role is welcome. Strong German language skills in speaking and writing are required. The role also calls for a helpful, courteous, and professional manner, along with a service-focused attitude in every situation.
