Job description
Role Overview
Are you skilled at home repairs or garden maintenance? The local SPCA Centre in Renwick, Marlborough is seeking volunteers with diverse skills in upkeep and landscaping to support meaningful community work.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform water blasting tasks
- Fix damage and wear around the property
- Apply paint to surfaces as needed
- Remove weeds from garden areas
- Trim hedges and bushes
- Mow lawns regularly
- Undertake other maintenance duties as identified
Additional Information
Volunteers have flexibility in the types of tasks they undertake and can choose to start gradually or focus on one job at a time. Location for volunteering is the SPCA Renwick Centre.
A criminal record clearance via the Ministry of Justice is required.
Requirements
- Dependable and approachable with prior experience in maintenance or gardening
- Must be aged 17 years or older
- Completion of a background check from the Ministry of Justice is mandatory
Time Commitment
You select your volunteering hours anytime between 8am to 4pm, on weekdays or weekends.
