Job description

Company overview

AnyWorky is a home-services marketplace that pairs verified local professionals with customers seeking help in and around Mississauga, Etobicoke, North York, and Brampton. Providers keep 100% of their earnings because the platform does not charge commission. The company is expanding its initial network of experienced handymen and handywomen, and early providers will get first access to new jobs as demand increases. This is an early-stage opportunity in a service business that is focused on customers and quality.

Role overview

This role is for a handyman who can handle a wide mix of household maintenance, assembly, and repair tasks. Although coordination and scheduling happen remotely through the platform, the actual work takes place at customer homes, so travel to job sites is required. The position is contract-based and supports customers across Canada.

What you'll handle

Typical work can include basic fixes, small plumbing or electrical tasks that stay within legal and safety limits, furniture assembly, painting, drywall patching, appliance setup, and general upkeep around the home. You will review incoming requests in the AnyWorky system, speak with customers to confirm the job details, estimate time and material needs, and complete the work with an emphasis on safety and quality. You will also record completed work accurately and provide polite, professional customer service.

Why join AnyWorky

  • You retain the full value of each job because no commission is taken from your earnings.
  • Pricing is settled before work begins, so there is no negotiation at the doorstep.
  • Jobs in your area are matched quickly, often within minutes.
  • The background-check process helps build customer trust before you arrive, which can improve job quality and repeat business.

Qualifications

The ideal provider should already have practical experience with home maintenance, assembly, and repairs, including carpentry, painting, minor plumbing, and limited electrical work where local rules allow it. You should know how to use common tools safely, follow workplace and code requirements, and communicate clearly with customers. Good scheduling, prioritization, and independent working habits are important, as is comfort using mobile apps for job intake, navigation, messages, and documentation. A valid driver’s license, dependable transportation, and the ability to travel to client locations are required. You should also have your own basic tools, keep them in good condition, be able to lift and move typical materials, and be eligible to work in Canada. Background or reference checks may also be required.

Additional information

AnyWorky is building its founding provider network, so early applicants receive priority access to jobs when the platform launches. The company specifically highlights opportunities in Mississauga, Etobicoke, North York, and Brampton, while also describing the service as supporting customers across Canada.
