Hair Stylist

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Hair Stylist to provide exceptional hair care services including cutting, designing, coloring, and styling to our valued guests. Duties include shampooing, conditioning, and rinsing hair along with examining the condition and appearance of hair, skin, or nails to ensure the suitability of requested services. The stylist will advise guests on proper care and recommend suitable home care routines. This role also involves promoting and selling spa and salon services, as well as retail products to guests.

Daily Responsibilities

• Escort guests to and from treatment rooms and prepare workstations and treatment areas with necessary products and tools for guest comfort and safety.
• Ensure all tools are cleaned, maintained, and sterilized following hygiene standards.
• Manage the daily schedule effectively to maintain timely service delivery.
• Handle inappropriate guest behavior by discontinuing service and informing supervisors as necessary.
• Maintain current licensure relevant to the service area and report any safety incidents or unsafe conditions promptly to management.
• Adhere strictly to company policies and procedures, maintain a clean and professional appearance, and ensure confidentiality of proprietary information.
• Maintain high standards of guest service by greeting guests warmly, addressing their needs, assisting individuals with disabilities, and expressing genuine gratitude.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with guests and team members, foster positive relationships with colleagues, support team objectives, and respond appropriately to coworkers' concerns.
• Adhere to quality assurance guidelines and standards while being physically able to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and handle light physical tasks as required.
• Perform additional reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors.

Preferred Qualifications

• Educational background from a technical, trade, or vocational school.
• Minimum of one year of related work experience in hair styling or a similar field.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No specific license or certification is mandatory.
