Overview
Etihad Airways, the national carrier of the UAE, is advancing its Journey 2030 growth plan and seeks a Guest Transport Planner based in Abu Dhabi. This full-time on-site role focuses on leading the planning, management, and optimization of guest transportation operations within the aviation sector, ensuring a seamless and high-quality experience for guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive demand forecasts by analyzing flight schedules, marketing trends, and historical data to create efficient transportation schedules and capacity plans.
- Anticipate and proactively address capacity challenges or risks before they affect service delivery.
- Oversee daily transport operations, managing any service disruptions or delays by coordinating responses to irregular events to maintain continuous service.
- Manage vendor relationships to ensure adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) concerning punctuality, service quality, and responsiveness, facilitating corrective measures whenever deviations arise.
- Prepare and evaluate operational reports to support data-driven improvements enhancing operational efficiency and guest satisfaction.
Candidate Profile
- Possess a bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
- Have over five years of experience in transportation, logistics, or operational planning.
- Exhibit strong geographic knowledge of the UAE.
- Demonstrate expertise in real-time operations control and vendor coordination.
- Preferably have experience in aviation or mobility service sectors.
- Understand both in-house and outsourced transportation management, including financial and logistical considerations.
