Role overview
This position is focused on delivering a polished, welcoming experience for club members and visitors. The Guest Service Attendant helps ensure that day-to-day guest interactions run smoothly, service standards stay consistently high, and the overall atmosphere across the club remains professional and guest-friendly.
Key responsibilities
- Receive members and visitors courteously on arrival and provide attentive service throughout their visit.
- Respond to questions, share directions, and explain club facilities and services clearly.
- Manage check-ins, reservations, and booking-related tasks as needed.
- Keep guest-facing areas tidy, orderly, and visually presentable.
- Work closely with golf operations, food and beverage, housekeeping, and other teams to support seamless service.
- Assist with events, tournaments, and routine club activities whenever required.
- Handle guest issues or complaints in a calm, professional manner and escalate matters when appropriate.
- Stay up to date on club services, offers, and scheduled events so guests receive accurate information.
- Support luggage assistance, valet coordination, or transport arrangements when needed.
- Follow company procedures, health and safety requirements, and established service standards.
- Take on additional duties assigned by management.
Skills and requirements
Experience in hospitality, front-of-house service, or a similar guest-facing role is preferred. The role calls for strong communication and interpersonal skills, a professional presentation, and a positive service mindset. Candidates should be comfortable working in a busy, customer-driven setting, show good attention to detail, and be able to solve problems effectively. Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays is also required.
Preferred background
Prior exposure to golf clubs, resorts, or luxury hospitality environments is an advantage. Basic familiarity with golf operations will be helpful in this role.
