Role overview
Rotana Hotels is seeking energetic, self-driven Front Office professionals who are ready to advance their careers. In this role, you will deliver polished, guest-centered service so that every stay feels smooth and memorable.
What you will do
- Provide consistently courteous, welcoming, and professional service to every guest.
- Receive arriving guests warmly and complete check-in procedures in line with the hotel’s standard operating procedures.
- Handle guest departures and complete checkout processes according to established service standards.
- Support room sales to walk-in guests and assist with day-to-day facility-related issues.
- Manage cash inventory and process cheques and foreign currency bills of exchange for hotel guests according to credit policy.
- Work closely with colleagues across departments, especially Housekeeping, Finance, and Reservations.
- Keep the Guest Service Desk staffed, ready for operations, and properly supplied at all times so guests always have a point of contact.
- Protect guest privacy by ensuring no personal information or stay details are disclosed.
- Maintain strong knowledge of hotel policies, procedures, service standards, facilities, and current happenings.
Skills and competencies
The right candidate will be guest-focused, proactive, alert, and confident in a busy, fast-moving environment. A friendly, approachable personality and the ability to work well with diverse teams and international guests are important.
Education and experience
A hospitality degree is preferred, along with prior experience in a hotel Front Office department. Strong written and spoken English is required, and knowledge of an additional language is an advantage. You should also have good interpersonal and problem-solving skills. Comfort with computers is expected, and experience using Opera is a plus.
