Job description
About the company
Farwell & Gervase is a high-end holiday homes and short-stay rental management business operating from Dubai, with an origin story rooted in London and Europe. The company oversees more than 70 units in some of Dubai’s most prestigious communities, including Emaar Beachfront, Dubai Marina, Downtown Dubai, and Creek Harbour. Its focus is on creating excellent guest stays while helping owners achieve strong rental performance.
About the role
The company is hiring a Guest Service Agent to act as its on-the-ground representative. This is a practical, guest-facing position that includes welcoming guests, carrying out property inspections, and making sure every home is presented to the standard expected by both guests and owners. The role plays a key part in first impressions and in maintaining the overall condition and readiness of each unit.
Core duties
- Welcome guests in person and complete check-in procedures.
- Inspect newly added properties before they become part of the portfolio.
- Prepare complete inventories for fresh units.
- Fit door signs, card stickers, DTCM permit stickers, and smart locks, and update WiFi details for new properties.
- Handle physical keys, fobs, and access cards across the portfolio, including issuing, collecting, and tracking them.
- Perform check-out inspections to verify that no damage has been left behind and raise support tickets straight away if any problems are found.
- Carry out pre-arrival checks to ensure each property is fully ready for guests and supports an average OTA rating of 4.8 stars or higher.
- Resolve simple maintenance or troubleshooting issues on site whenever possible, and log a support ticket for anything that requires more than basic intervention.
- Direct any potential guest or owner enquiries to the correct internal team.
- Represent the company in a professional, friendly, and welcoming manner during every guest interaction.
- Be prepared to work extra hours when required, especially during busy periods.
What the role offers
This position comes with a competitive salary, UAE employment visa sponsorship, health insurance, and a branded uniform. It also offers the chance to join a growing premium property management business in Dubai, work closely with some of the city’s most sought-after properties, and build a career as the company expands toward a 100+ unit portfolio.
Additional information
Flexibility and a willingness to work overtime are essential for this role, particularly in peak season. The job is fully on-site in Dubai and requires regular in-person guest and property handling.
