Holiday Inn Sydney St Marys is hiring an experienced Guest Service Agent to support both front office operations and night audit tasks. This opportunity combines guest-facing reception work with overnight audit responsibilities as part of a rotating schedule that includes mornings, afternoons, weekends, and some night shifts.
What you will do
- Welcome guests, manage arrivals and departures, and handle check-ins and check-outs.
- Respond to booking enquiries, reservations, and day-to-day guest requests.
- Provide consistent, high-quality service across all guest interactions.
- Support night audit activities, including end-of-day checks and reporting.
- Reconcile transactions and ensure accounts balance accurately.
- Follow hotel safety and security procedures as required.
- Work in coordination with hotel and club teams to keep operations running smoothly.
What we are looking for
- Prior experience in a hotel front office, reception, or guest services role.
- Night audit exposure is strongly preferred.
- Experience with IHG systems or other major hotel platforms is an advantage.
- Strong accuracy, organisation, and attention to detail.
- Clear communication skills and a polished presentation.
- A friendly, professional approach to guest service.
- Current RSA certification, or a willingness to obtain it.
- Availability for a roster that may include weekends and occasional overnight work.
