About the opportunity

This full-time role is based at the Hervey Bay Lifestyle site in Wondunna, Queensland. As the Guest Experience Officer, you will be the first point of contact for guests and residents, helping deliver a friendly, smooth, and memorable experience across the park.

Key duties
- Greet visitors warmly and share clear information about the park, resort facilities, local attractions, and activities while supporting seamless arrival and departure processes.
- Handle walk-in bookings, promote other holiday destinations within the group, and suggest suitable add-ons while following reservation procedures and recording guest details accurately.
- Plan and run engaging holiday activities within budget, keep the environment safe and tidy, and encourage guests to take part.
- Maintain a high standard of presentation, follow sales and service guidelines, and work toward guest satisfaction goals such as Net Promoter Score outcomes.
- Assist with caretaking tasks when required, including maintaining site cleanliness, helping guests after hours, and monitoring adherence to site rules.

- Background in hospitality or tourism is preferred, though a strong interest in learning within a guest-facing role is also welcome.
- Comfort using Microsoft Office and booking platforms such as Newbook, or a willingness to build those skills quickly.
- Ability to work well with others, communicate with empathy, and stay detail-focused.
- A valid Working with Children Check.
- A current automatic driver’s licence.
