About the Role
Sheraton Hotels & Resorts is looking for a part-time Guest Experience Expert to join its Rooms & Guest Services Operations team in Sydney, New South Wales. This position is based at 161 Elizabeth Street and is not remote. The role is non-management and sits within a workplace culture that emphasizes community, belonging, and attentive service.
As part of the Sheraton team, you will help create memorable stays by supporting guest service operations and delivering service that feels personal, thoughtful, and responsive.
What You’ll Do
- Back up the Guest Services team by handling a variety of day-to-day operational duties.
- Develop strong knowledge of the hotel and the local area so you can anticipate and exceed guest needs.
- Allocate rooms based on guest preferences and requests whenever possible.
- Respond to general guest enquiries and shape experiences that match individual needs.
- Review and correct guest billing when needed, while also resolving questions and follow-up requests with care and accuracy.
- Build lasting relationships with returning and new guests through warm interactions and service that encourages repeat bookings.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience using OPERA or a similar property management system.
- Background in a comparable guest-facing role.
- Legal right to work in Australia.
- A genuine desire to grow your career in hospitality.
- A proactive, self-driven approach and the ability to stay energized in a busy, fast-moving setting.
- Strong problem-solving ability paired with a practical, positive attitude.
