About the Role
The Senior Recruiter is crucial in expanding Playlist's talent pipeline. This position involves identifying and engaging with both internal and external candidates throughout the entire recruitment process, from sourcing and screening to interview coordination, offer management, negotiation, and closing. The Senior Recruiter will serve as a subject matter expert, staying informed about the latest recruiting best practices, evolving trends, and strategic sourcing techniques.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for external candidates, with a primary focus on strategic hiring for high-impact Go-To-Market (GTM) roles.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates, conducting thorough screenings to assess availability, interest levels, salary expectations, relocation needs, visa status, and essential qualifications.
- Collaborate with leadership to develop high-level strategies that support the achievement of company-wide hiring objectives.
- Effectively manage stakeholder expectations by presenting data-driven insights that demonstrate a deep understanding of the talent pool for challenging-to-fill positions.
- Evaluate candidates based on factors such as job experience, educational background, acquired skills, relevant training, organizational fit, and future potential.
- Proactively build and maintain a robust recruiting pipeline by identifying and cultivating relationships with sought-after talent.
- Provide candidates with comprehensive information about the company's culture, compensation structure, benefits packages, and relevant policies and procedures.
- Foster strong partnerships with hiring managers to ensure a clear understanding and anticipation of hiring needs.
- Maintain accurate records within the applicant tracking system (Greenhouse).
- Ensure adherence to established procedures and all applicable employment laws.
- Collaborate effectively with People & Culture Business Partners.
- Deliver regular updates on the status of open positions and present data and proposed solutions as required.
- Handle complex and sensitive personnel matters with professionalism, maintaining confidentiality and demonstrating sound judgment.
Skills and Experience Required
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Full Lifecycle Recruiter.
- Possession of a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
- Proven ability to proactively identify and recruit top-tier talent.
- Demonstrated experience in developing recruitment strategies that have successfully contributed to company-wide hiring goals.
- Technical proficiency, including familiarity with common programming languages, systems architecture, IT networking, and standard hardware and software tools.
- Experience working collaboratively with diverse teams, including HR, Compensation, and Operations.
- Exceptional organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Meticulous attention to detail, coupled with strong organizational capabilities and the ability to prioritize and execute plans effectively.
- Aptitude for proactive networking and establishing effective working relationships with candidates and colleagues.
- High levels of self-awareness and emotional intelligence, with an approachable, patient, and helpful demeanor, remaining composed under pressure.
- Willingness to travel annually for talent acquisition team gatherings.
