Job description

About the Role

Good Moose is a boutique independent growth marketing agency headquartered in New York. The agency partners with companies at every stage of growth, including early-stage startups and established leaders, with a focus on helping them launch, expand, and scale in a sustainable way.

The team brings together hands-on media platform expertise along with strong capabilities in creative, analytics, and retention. Data-driven decision-making is central to the way the agency works, using measurement, automation, segmentation, and attribution to build efficient strategies that improve profitability.

This is a remote-first opportunity on a growing media team that is primarily accountable for conversion and revenue growth, while also contributing to broader full-funnel marketing strategy where needed. The role provides broad exposure to the brand lifecycle, from pre-launch through scaling, and offers a chance to deepen knowledge of media best practices in a fast-moving agency environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the launch, optimization, reporting, and analysis of digital media campaigns, with the goal of improving performance and helping clients meet their business objectives.
  • Support client relationships and partner closely with team leads to keep day-to-day deliverables moving smoothly across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Help educate clients and internal teams on emerging trends, proven practices, and new technologies, while also having the opportunity to interact directly with senior brand leadership such as investors, board members, and CEOs when shaping growth strategies.
  • Collaborate with analytics, ad operations, and creative teams to define testing plans, review KPI performance, and turn findings into actions that improve revenue outcomes.
  • Use analytics tools to uncover insights and recommend changes that can help strengthen client results and revenue growth.
  • Bring strategic thinking to performance improvement by spotting opportunities, suggesting website or app changes that reduce friction and improve conversion, and identifying ways to lower acquisition costs and increase revenue.
  • Take ownership of multiple priorities, balance different responsibilities, and contribute to both tactical execution and strategic problem-solving.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in digital media planning and buying, with a strong focus on paid search and paid social campaign setup and optimization within Google and/or Facebook.
  • Experience with additional channels such as CTV/OTT, display, influencers, or audio is considered a strong advantage.
  • Solid understanding of the full marketing funnel, including both direct-response and brand-building approaches.
  • Strong client-facing communication skills, including the ability to work effectively with internal brand teams, lead meetings, and create presentations from the ground up.
  • Proven ability to analyze data, translate it into meaningful insights, and present recommendations in a way that aligns with client KPIs and communication preferences.
  • Working knowledge of pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions is expected.
  • Experience in conversion-focused, performance-driven marketing and understanding of how top-of-funnel and brand awareness tactics fit into the broader strategy.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and project management skills, with the ability to manage personal tasks and delegate effectively when needed.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Shopify, Google Data Studio, TripleWhale, Northbeam, Tableau, Rockerbox, Glew, Looker, or Motion is a plus.
  • Experience working with beauty brands is a strong advantage.

Perks and Benefits

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance.
  • HSA and FSA options.
  • Paid time off and company-paid holidays.
  • Flex Fridays.
  • 401(k) retirement plan with company match.
  • Paid parental leave.
  • Commuter benefits.
  • Dependent care FSA.
  • Mental health support through a Talkspace membership.
  • Provided in-office lunch.
  • Base pay range of $60,000 to $80,000, with compensation determined by relevant experience, skills, qualifications, and location for New York City-based hires.
