Job description
Role overview
IRG Media is hiring a Growth Director to lead commercial expansion for a fast-scaling influencer marketing agency. The business has grown from zero to seven-figure revenue in just 1.5 years and now wants a senior leader who can turn early momentum into a repeatable, predictable growth engine.
The agency works with brands in travel, wellness, lifestyle, and education, matching them with creators who can deliver both authentic storytelling and measurable commercial outcomes. This role sits at the heart of revenue generation and is intended to reduce founder dependency while building a stronger sales system, clearer forecasting, and a more scalable commercial function.
The company operates in fast-moving, high-pressure environments and values ownership, accountability, autonomy, and delivery. This is a hands-on leadership role reporting to the CEO and based remotely, with UK preference.
Compensation and working arrangement
- Salary range: £70,000 to £80,000 per year, depending on experience
- Commission plus annual bonus included
- Full-time role
- Remote working, with UK preferred
- 40 hours per week
- Start date: ASAP
What you will own
- Shape and lead the agency’s commercial strategy to support revenue doubling
- Build a reliable pipeline and improve how leads move through the funnel
- Close high-value brand deals and lead complex sales conversations end to end
- Qualify opportunities based on creator fit, campaign potential, and commercial value
- Create tailored pitches with support from fulfilment, SDRs, influencer coordinators, and operations
- Reduce reliance on the founder in sales, negotiation, and deal structure
- Use the creator network proactively as a selling asset in outreach and pitching
- Expand one-off campaigns into longer-term partnerships, repeat work, or managed services
- Represent the agency in the market through events, partnerships, and brand meetings
- Track pipeline health, forecast revenue, and improve visibility for leadership
- Support the development of a stronger sales team through hiring, onboarding, training, and KPI setting
Growth goals and success measures
The immediate objective is to help move the business from an annualised revenue run rate of about $1.1M to $2.5M by the end of the year. In the first 30 to 90 days, you are expected to understand the current commercial setup, review case studies, assess revenue drivers, and establish benchmarks for the months ahead. By 90 to 180 days, the pipeline should be more stable and revenue growth should be measurable against agreed targets.
What will help you succeed
- Experience closing seven figures in revenue within a single year at an agency
- A strong grasp of how to build revenue systems, not only close deals
- Background scaling growth functions in agencies or service-led businesses
- Comfort working toward ambitious commercial targets
- Experience with brand partnerships in travel, hospitality, entertainment, or wellness is especially relevant
Benefits
- Competitive base pay with commission and annual bonus
- Fully remote working setup
- Strong scope for progression and uncapped growth potential
- Early opportunity to help shape the direction of the business
