About the Role

As a Grower (m/f/d), you play a vital part in cultivating plants from cuttings to rooted young plants. Your efforts directly support our propagation team and help us deliver innovation, quality, and value to customers and partners worldwide.

This position is key to ensuring the high quality of our rooted cuttings. Your expertise and skills enable Dümmen Orange to maintain competitiveness in a global market while reinforcing our dedication to excellence, sustainability, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform cultivation, fertilization, and plant protection tasks.
  • Manage climate control and operate climate computers after training.
  • Conduct quality checks from cuttings to the rooted young plants.
  • Document cultivation care measures and handle related administrative duties.
  • Optionally take on full cultural responsibility following a successful training period.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Completed vocational training as a gardener, master gardener, or technician in ornamental plant production, including a valid plant protection certification.
  • Professional experience in horticulture, preferably in ornamental plant production.
  • Proficient knowledge in fertilization, plant protection, and vegetative propagation.
  • Willingness to regularly perform weekend shifts on a rotational basis.
  • Fluency in both spoken and written German.
