Job description
About the Role
This position is designed for someone who can handle sophisticated travel systems, coordinate large international group movements, and turn complex logistics into polished, high-end travel experiences. The role sits at the core of destination wedding travel and group booking operations, combining technical accuracy with a luxury service mindset.
Wedded Wonderland works with couples, celebration planners, premium venues, and travel partners across more than 50 countries. The business supports destination weddings, multi-day celebrations, and luxury group travel experiences around the world.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the complete workflow for complex international group bookings, from the first quote through final post-trip reconciliation.
- Use Global Distribution Systems to create master PNRs, manage complicated flight routing, arrange group air inventory, and ticket bookings in line with airline rules and procedures.
- Research and negotiate the best possible group pricing with airlines, luxury hotels, ground transport providers, and local partners, while reducing client exposure to attrition and cancellation risks.
- Serve as the main point of contact for couples, guests, and planners, responding quickly to changes, cancellations, and urgent travel issues.
- Create and maintain accurate guest movement plans, transport manifests, and tailored digital itineraries, keeping data fully consistent across internal systems and CRM platforms.
- Coordinate closely with venues, tourism boards, premium hotel groups, and global hospitality brands to keep operations smooth and improve the guest experience on site.
- Maintain detailed booking records, monitor supplier deposits, track payment schedules, and prepare clear financial documentation after each event.
What We’re Looking For
- 3 to 5 years of proven experience as a Group Travel Consultant in a fast-paced travel, hospitality, or events environment, managing both air and land logistics.
- Strong working knowledge of a major GDS such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo for group ticketing, fare building, and queue handling.
- Solid understanding of group contract terms, including attrition clauses, release dates, and financial liabilities.
- Strong organisational ability with the capacity to manage several large manifests and changing deadlines at the same time without losing precision.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to switch between technical airline language and warm, client-friendly updates.
- A calm, solution-focused approach under pressure, with the ability to meet tight turnaround times and handle global travel disruptions professionally.
- Genuine interest in luxury travel, international hospitality trends, and delivering premium service for meaningful celebrations.
Why Join Us
- Use your travel systems and logistics expertise on high-profile luxury destinations and premium hospitality brands.
