Role Overview

This role is critical in aligning noon’s organizational structure with its rapid business growth across markets and business units. The Group Head of People will direct the entire Group’s people strategy encompassing organizational design, talent acquisition, rewards, performance management, succession planning, and leadership development. Reporting directly to the Group COO and participating in the Group Leadership team, this position entails hands-on leadership and strategic ownership of the people function to ensure noon maintains a competitive advantage through its workforce.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and continually adapt noon’s organizational design and workforce plans to support growth ambitions.
  • Lead the talent acquisition process, including setting the hiring standards, sourcing strategy, interview frameworks, and employer brand management.
  • Manage leadership succession planning and senior-level recruitment, identifying leadership gaps proactively.
  • Design and maintain compensation structures, career progression frameworks, and incentive programs as group-wide standards.
  • Oversee the performance management cycle, including calibration and enforcement of company-wide standards.
  • Champion and embed noon’s values and culture consistently across all markets.
  • Establish a people analytics framework, leveraging data to drive informed leadership decisions.
  • Ensure decentralization by setting People function standards for each business unit's People lead to uphold consistency and excellence.
  • Define operational models and governance for HR functions including policies and compliance at the group level.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to Group Leadership regarding people, organizational, and leadership matters.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Possess a top-tier educational background with demonstrated credentials.
  • Proven success in leading HR functions at scale or transitioning from strategy/consulting into building organizational capabilities.
  • Strong business acumen with ability to interpret P&L statements and design people plans aligned with business goals.
  • Expertise or rapid capability development in compensation, workforce planning, and organizational design.
  • Proficiency in data-driven decision making for people management.
  • Experience managing high-stakes succession and senior-level recruitment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, comfortable engaging with diverse stakeholders from operators to executives.
  • Ability to maintain composure under pressure, manage ambiguity, and drive execution relentlessly.

Preferred Experience

  • Familiarity with Middle East markets.
  • Background in fast-growing technology or e-commerce sectors.
  • Experience leading or scaling people functions during periods of rapid company growth.
