The Role: Group FP&A Junior Analyst

We are seeking enthusiastic team players to contribute to delivering outstanding customer experiences. As a Group FP&A Junior Analyst, you will provide crucial support to the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function across the entire Group. Your collaborative efforts will be instrumental in cultivating a culture of financial excellence throughout the organization. This is a full-time position based at Pret’s Support Centre in London Victoria, operating on a hybrid model with typically three days per week in the office.

Key Responsibilities

• Consolidate and aggregate total Group financial results, working closely with Group-wide FP&A teams to inform executive and board-level decision-making.
• Promote consistency and high standards in FP&A practices across all markets by streamlining processes, enhancing forecasting accuracy, and minimizing manual tasks.
• Identify potential risks, opportunities, and key drivers impacting the Profit & Loss statement, including sales, labor costs, cost of goods sold, and overheads, and translate these insights into actionable business strategies.
• Play a pivotal role in the annual planning and budgeting cycles, in collaboration with other finance leaders.
• This role reports to the Group & International FP&A Analyst.

Experience and Skills Required

• Proficiency in financial reporting and data management systems, with a preference for Netsuite and PowerBI.
• Exceptional attention to detail, coupled with the ability to prioritize tasks and perform effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across different departments.
• Strong analytical and logical reasoning capabilities.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• A proactive approach with a strong sense of ownership.
• Previous experience working within a multi-subsidiary organizational structure.

• Competitive salary ranging from £40,000 to £50,000 per annum, with potential for a 10% bonus.

Interview Journey

The selection process involves three stages: an initial 30-minute virtual screening with the recruitment team, followed by a one-hour in-person interview with the hiring manager at our Head Office in London Victoria. The final stage includes an interview with either the Commercial Finance Director or the CFO.
