Role Overview
We are recruiting an innovative Group Director of Guest Experience to lead the guest engagement and experience across luxury resorts in Latin America and the Caribbean. This senior leadership role is fully onsite in the Caribbean and includes support for international relocation, suitable for candidates who thrive in an expatriate setting. A Chartered Accountant qualification (audit route preferred) is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and execute a strategic vision for guest experience, elevating standards within luxury hospitality.
- Oversee guest experience operations at various resort properties to ensure adherence to brand standards, integrating food and beverage, wellness, recreation, entertainment, and front-of-house areas.
- Drive innovative approaches to guest engagement anticipating future luxury hospitality trends.
- Manage the Latin America and Caribbean resort portfolio, adapting guest experiences to local cultures while upholding global brand consistency.
- Lead and mentor a diverse international team promoting service excellence and ongoing improvement.
- Utilize guest feedback and market data to monitor trends, evaluate program success, and refine guest offerings.
- Collaborate with corporate leadership, operations, and marketing to coordinate integrated guest services aligned with brand positioning.
- Act as a prominent representative of the group at industry events and within resorts.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum 10 years of leadership expertise within luxury hospitality; extensive experience in large resorts or cruise sectors mandatory.
- Proven success in creating and implementing guest experience strategies at scale.
- Strong operational abilities coupled with innovative thinking for guest engagement.
- Experience working within Caribbean and Latin American cultural contexts.
- Demonstrated leadership managing international teams and multi-property operations.
- Excellent communication, cultural sensitivity, and influential leadership presence.
- Bachelor's degree required; a Master's in Hospitality, Business, or related discipline preferred.
- Fully qualified Chartered Accountant, audit background preferred.
