About the Role
We are engaged in a confidential search for a Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) position at a global private equity-backed enterprise formed through the combination of three companies across Asia, the US, and Europe. This newly merged organization, comprising around 13,000 employees worldwide, is entering a transformative period focused on integration, growth, and value creation, with aspirations to conduct an IPO by 2029 targeting an estimated valuation of $15 billion.
Role Overview
Reporting directly to the CEO and collaborating closely with the Board and private equity sponsors, the CHRO, based in Singapore, will be a vital part of the executive leadership team. The key responsibility is to establish and implement a cohesive global people and culture strategy across multiple regions including Asia Pacific, the US, and Europe. The focus areas include integration, organizational alignment, and evolving scalable human resource capabilities to sustain rapid expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the full spectrum of HR functions including organizational design, leadership and succession planning, total rewards, performance management, talent acquisition and retention, HR operations, governance, and workforce planning.
- Facilitate post-merger integration efforts to unify three legacy companies with emphasis on cultural harmonization and deploying consistent HR frameworks and operating models that drive operational efficiency and support growth.
- Drive IPO preparation related to people strategies, corporate governance, reporting structures, and leadership frameworks.
- Partner with the CEO, executive leadership, and investors to align people strategies closely with business objectives and value creation.
- Champion large-scale transformation initiatives and develop leadership capabilities across Asia Pacific and the Middle East as the organization continues to scale.
Candidate Profile and Requirements
- Extensive senior HR leadership experience within private equity-backed organizations, especially those that are complex, global, fast-moving, and undergoing integration.
- Demonstrated experience working in multi-geographical contexts involving significant organizational change and integration.
- Deep understanding of Asian markets with lived and professional experience in Asia, particularly China and India.
- Proven involvement in IPO preparation, large-scale organizational change, and engagement in investor-facing environments.
Additional Information
This role represents a unique opportunity to influence and shape a newly unified global leader at the early stages of its development. The CHRO will have critical impact on long-term equity creation, organizational design, and value growth leading to a potential IPO in 2029.
