About the Role
Food People is collaborating with a prominent FMCG company that has an expanding regional footprint and an ambitious growth plan across various business units. To support this expansion and enhance the operating model, they are looking to recruit an experienced Group Chief Financial Officer. This executive role involves close partnership with the Group CEO and leadership team to steer the company's financial direction, governance, and long-term fiscal health.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and implement the Group's financial strategy aligned with corporate goals.
- Work closely with the CEO and Board to facilitate strategic decisions.
- Manage financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and overall performance oversight across the Group.
- Establish and maintain strong governance, compliance standards, and internal controls.
- Supervise treasury operations, cash flow management, tax affairs, audits, and financial risk mitigation.
- Provide insightful financial analysis to support commercial decision-making.
- Lead finance transformation projects and drive continuous process enhancements.
- Evaluate investments, develop business cases, and oversee capital allocation.
- Collaborate with business units to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
- Build and lead a high-performing finance team while enhancing financial capabilities throughout the organization.
- Cultivate strong relationships with banks, auditors, regulators, and investors.
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline.
- Professional accounting certification such as CPA, ACA, or ACCA.
- Extensive senior finance leadership experience within the FMCG or food manufacturing sectors.
- Strong background in manufacturing finance.
- Experience in multinational companies followed by regional or local leadership roles.
- Proven track record of managing Board-level and executive stakeholders.
- Strong commercial insight and business partnering skills.
- Experience leading finance teams in dynamic, evolving organizations.
- Previous work experience in Saudi Arabia is mandatory.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and influencing abilities.
- Practical, hands-on leadership style with the ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment.
- Arabic language proficiency is a desirable advantage.
