Overview
The Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Group Associate Director of People Delivery, a vital senior leadership position spanning both The Dudley Group and Sandwell & West Birmingham NHS Trusts within a developing NHS Group model. This role entails strategic guidance, operational management, and overseeing performance across a comprehensive People Delivery function supporting over 15,000 employees across two major NHS organisations.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver strategic leadership and maintain a visible presence over the Group People Delivery function to ensure superior, efficient, and customer-oriented People Services.
- Steer the implementation of the Group People Strategy aligning workforce objectives with organisational goals, transformation initiatives, and operational targets.
- Manage People Operations including employee relations, medical staffing, recruitment, workforce resourcing, organisational changes, and engagement with trade unions.
- Guarantee sound workforce governance, compliance, and assurance, supplying Boards and Executives with high-quality workforce data and risk oversight.
- Lead workforce systems, analytics, and digital service areas.
- Serve as a trusted consultant to Executive Directors and senior leaders regarding complex workforce issues, organisational development, and change management.
- Inspire and guide multidisciplinary teams cultivating a culture of accountability, innovation, ongoing improvement, and high performance.
- Drive workforce transformation initiatives that enhance employee experience, elevate productivity, advance recruitment and retention, and boost organisational effectiveness.
- Support financial sustainability through effective resource allocation, workforce planning, productivity enhancements, and delivering value-for-money services.
- Act as deputy to the Director of People & Organisational Development and represent the organisation as needed.
