Role overview

What the role involves

In this position, you would handle a broad range of grocery store duties in a careful, timely, and professional manner. The goal is to support customer satisfaction, encourage loyalty, and contribute to a positive environment for both customers and coworkers.

• Follow food safety rules, standard operating procedures, health and safety practices, and company programs and policies.
• Place orders, accept deliveries, and stock merchandise according to inventory control procedures when needed.
• Deliver helpful and courteous customer service that addresses shopper needs.
• Support sales by promoting featured items and offers.
• Keep the back room and sales floor tidy, maintained, and ready for customers.
• Prepare customer orders when required.
• Handle department shrink-related tasks as needed.
• Help train newer team members.
• Carry out other assigned duties as required.

Pay and conditions

The posted pay range for this position is $19.60 to $22.50 per hour, depending on location, experience, skills, internal equity, and market conditions. Compensation may vary by store ownership and role.
