About the Role
Artemis ARC is seeking a Graphic Designer/Multimedia Specialist to create professional and visually compelling graphics and multimedia materials that enhance communications and outreach initiatives for a major stakeholder engagement contract. This includes developing content for websites, videos, presentations, documents, brochures, events, and branding efforts, transforming program messages into accessible and impactful visual assets.
This position calls for a proactive, independent individual with strong design and multimedia production skills, capable of working well under pressure with a positive, adaptable approach. The role is contingent upon client approval, meeting security and potential on-site requirements, and is primarily remote with possible travel for client engagements.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality graphic and multimedia designs supporting outreach including digital platforms, printed materials, and event branding.
- Collaborate on communications deliverables such as case studies, infographics, promotional content, and briefing decks.
- Create and edit multimedia content that aligns with client branding, messaging, and digital strategies.
- Ensure compliance with Section 508 accessibility standards for all designed materials.
- Work with the communications team to convert key messages into engaging visual materials.
- Provide visual support for event, web, and social media needs as required.
Qualifications and Skills
- At least three years of professional experience in graphic design and multimedia production.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline.
- Proficient use of Adobe Creative Cloud applications.
- A portfolio showcasing work for federal or public-sector clients is mandatory.
- Preferred knowledge of Section 508 accessibility guidelines.
- Experience in supporting complex projects and federal government transformation initiatives.
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain DHS suitability/public trust clearance.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and time management capabilities.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
- Effective written and oral communication skills to clearly articulate ideas and solutions.
- Capacity to maintain composure in fast-paced or high-pressure environments.
- Receptiveness to client feedback and ability to adapt designs promptly.
- Quick learning aptitude to understand complex subject matter rapidly.
- Motivation to thrive in a dynamic and evolving work environment.
Additional Information
This position is contingent upon client approval and security clearances. Remote work is the default mode, but occasional client site visits are expected. The contractor must adhere to any on-site criteria when required.
