Role Summary
The Graphic Design and Video Creation intern will support selected graphic and video production work for the company. This is a virtual role and can be done from the intern’s home location.
Key Responsibilities
- Create five promotional videos.
- Develop three digital media kits.
- Produce additional digital graphics as needed.
Duration and Start Date
This internship runs for 6 months and is expected to begin immediately.
Compensation
This is an unpaid virtual internship. However, the role offers valuable experience, including writing exposure.
Location Preference
Candidates based in Metro San Francisco, Seattle, Chicago, New York, Miami, and Los Angeles are strongly encouraged to apply, though the location is not mandatory.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should be familiar with current graphic design and video software, and should have a solid grasp of layout, typography, and visual composition. Candidates need to be able to develop multiple creative concepts for presentation, have some background in print-based design work, and ideally have taken coursework or specialized training in graphic or web design. A modern artistic sensibility, a creative mindset, the ability to contribute fresh ideas, experience with video editing and video creation tools, and the capacity to work independently are also important.
