Role Overview

Reporting to the Senior Creative Manager, the Graphic Designer will conceive and produce all creative assets for Moody Center, including marketing and PR campaigns, social and digital media content, ticketing materials, event collateral, sponsorship activations, and digital signage within the arena.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop digital signage (ribbon and LED boards), print materials, and in-venue graphics.
  • Contribute to the establishment and maintenance of graphic production guidelines and standards reflecting the venue's brand identity.
  • Create custom templates and branding tailored to various social media channels.
  • Design promotional layouts for promoters and event clients, including admats, signage, print and digital advertisements, product concepts, and e-blasts.
  • Ensure timely delivery and high-quality production of creative materials.
  • Produce flawless, print-ready assets, coordinating smoothly with vendors for quality and deadline adherence.
  • Provide creative concepts, mockups, samples, and finalized designs for assignments as needed.
  • Communicate effectively to support and enhance Moody Center’s mission and vision across multiple media platforms.
  • Suggest and implement improvements to creative workflows, automations, and project management processes.
  • Take part in brainstorming and content strategy sessions.
  • Execute print mailings including letters and postcards, managing mail merges.
  • Manage multiple projects independently from conception through completion.
  • Support the creative team and assist design interns with project inquiries on-site.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with a focus on graphic design preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • 2-3+ years of professional experience in graphic design, communications arts, or marketing.
  • Familiarity with traditional four-color printing and digital design processes.
  • Proficient in photography and photo retouching techniques.
  • Strong original design skills; ability to conceptualize and adapt existing templates and stock assets.
  • Keen eye for typography, layout, composition, and color theory.
  • Exceptional ability to transform ideas into impactful graphic artwork.
  • Adept at managing several projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment while maintaining creativity.
  • Proficient in web production with excellent copywriting, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Skilled in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Preferred experience includes designing static and animated web, social media, email, and display ads.
  • Experience in video production and editing, familiarity with Final Cut Pro and/or Adobe Premiere preferred.
  • Knowledge of digital asset management systems is advantageous.
  • Experience or interest in the music and entertainment sector preferred, with ability to utilize advertising and design assets.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers an annual salary between $60,000 and $70,000. Full-time benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with matching contributions, and paid time off encompassing vacation, sick leave, and 11 holidays.
