About the Role

As a Contract Graphic Designer at Playbook, you will play a crucial role in bringing the brand to life with compelling, high-quality visual designs that enhance marketing efforts, client experiences, and support business growth. Emphasizing creativity and meticulous attention to detail, you'll craft visual assets that amplify the brand identity and meet creative challenges across diverse channels and sub-brands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce polished digital and print materials aligned with Playbook's brand guidelines, including templates, marketing collateral, presentations, and experiential graphics, ensuring consistent visuals among multiple sub-brands.
  • Collaborate closely with the Associate Creative Director and cross-functional teams to grasp project objectives, deliver creative solutions, incorporate feedback, and maintain alignment with brand strategy.
  • Efficiently manage various creative tasks concurrently, adapt to shifting priorities, maintain communication through Slack, and deliver high-quality results within set deadlines.
  • Introduce innovative ideas, thoughtful design resolutions, and creative problem-solving to continually enhance Playbook's visual presence and creative workflows.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years professional experience in graphic design, focusing on digital and print marketing assets.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud tools, including Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace applications, Canva, Slack, and Figma.
  • Preferred experience with email marketing platforms such as Customer.io.
  • Possession of a strong online portfolio showcasing branding, marketing, and visual design projects.
  • Additional advantages include skills in photo editing and retouching, brand development, multi-brand design systems, basic motion graphics or video editing (After Effects or Premiere), and environmental/experiential design.

Additional Information

  • Compensation ranges from $40 to $55 per hour, negotiable depending on experience.
  • This is a fully remote position and applicants must be based in the United States.
  • Work commitments are approximately 10 to 15 hours per week.
  • The role reports directly to the Associate Creative Director.
  • Playbook may use AI tools to assist in the recruitment process; however, all hiring decisions are made by humans.
