Role Overview
This position is a fixed-term maternity cover lasting around 12 months. The Graphic Designer will be integral to delivering high-volume, multi-platform campaigns efficiently without compromising quality. They will translate creative ideas into completed assets for digital, social media, print, and in-restaurant applications and serve as a crucial contributor to campaign execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver creative design outputs independently across digital, social, print, in-restaurant, and campaign channels.
- Interpret creative briefs and transform them into compelling visual designs with minimal oversight.
- Adapt campaign creative into various formats while ensuring brand consistency is maintained.
- Create and resize asset collections to meet different format requirements and specifications.
- Produce production-ready artwork fulfilling all technical criteria.
- Assist the Senior Graphic Designer with key visual assets and major campaign projects.
- Collaborate closely with Senior Graphic Designer, videographers, strategists, and other stakeholders.
- Maintain organized campaign design systems and asset libraries.
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently, proactively raising any risks.
- Contribute to creative reviews by providing thoughtful feedback.
Required Experience and Skills
- Between 3 to 5 years experience in a graphic design role, either agency-based or in-house.
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and After Effects.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver polished assets with limited supervision.
- Competent at interpreting briefs independently and asking insightful questions.
- Strong grasp of layout, typography, composition, and visual hierarchy principles.
- Experience designing across multiple platforms and formats.
- Dependable in meeting deadlines and managing numerous campaign designs simultaneously.
- Accountable for quality and timing, actively welcomes feedback and implements improvements.
Additional Information
This role involves full-time onsite work in Surry Hills, New South Wales, Australia. It is a temporary contract of approximately 12 months covering a maternity leave period.
