Role Overview

The City of Pearland, Texas is hiring a full-time Grants Manager to oversee the planning, administration, compliance, and performance of grants from federal, state, and local sources. This position supports initiatives tied to public safety, transportation, infrastructure, community development, and recovery or mitigation work, with a strong focus on producing measurable community results.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual pay range for this role is $71,682.31 to $91,394.94, depending on qualifications. The city also covers 100% of employee dental coverage, long-term disability, and life insurance premiums, and contributes most of the medical premium for employees and their dependents. Key Responsibilities

You will also monitor budgets and spending, ensure compliance with all applicable rules and regulations, oversee subrecipient performance and documentation, and prepare required reporting. A key part of the role is partnering with city departments to convert grant funding into practical community outcomes while keeping records organized and ready for audit review.

Qualifications and Experience

The city is looking for someone with 3 to 5 years of experience handling municipal or government grants. You should have a solid background using federal and state grant systems, along with practical knowledge of program management, grant reporting, accounting, and compliance.
